The Dance Studio

Coastal Performing Arts Academy opened five years ago by owner and director Dawn Oswald. The studio has seen much growth over the last three years, and is now represented in three locations: Springfield, Rincon, and Pooler.
The Springfield Studio is located right in the middle of downtown Springfield, across from the Post Office, at 701 South Laurel Street. This is a beautiful new studio with two dance rooms. This studio operates on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday with a cozy small school atmosphere. The children benefit from small class sizes for maximum attention, but still maintain the ability to perform in large performances with the main studio.
The Rincon Studio is located in the Effingham YMCA and is also known as Y dance. Our YMCA students have the opportunity of dancing in a state of the art studio while their parents enjoy all the amenities of the YMCA. The students at the YMCA will be joined with the main studio for all performances.
The Pooler Studio is located in the Pooler Park West Shopping Center. This 3,000 square foot studio has two very spacious dance rooms with floating dance floors and professional sound system. There is a large waiting room with Internet access, and a closed circuit TV system to view your stars in the making.
We want to extend the opportunity to dance in a positive and uplifting place where everyone is a STAR. Throughout the year we give our stars many chances to shine. We challenge you to SHINE with us!!

Little Stars Pre-School Academy was established by
Dawn Oswald. Her goal as a Dance Educator and a caring
parent is to bring laughter,music, fun, and dance into the
lives of young children. Your rising star will explore the world
of creativity through movement, music, dance, imaginative
play, and emotional expression, to develop a sence of
self-respect, disipline, leader-ship and poise. These attributes
provide a solid foundation for your childs future endeavor
Dawn invites you and your child to experience this unique
program designed exclusively for children ages 2 - 6.
